Owned by Wayne Cross and Chris Malden, the Daylesford Getaways booking service focuses on contemporary holiday homes and villas. There are about 180 properties on the books, including some that Wayne and Chris built themselves. For long weekends away with friends, the three-bedroom Hisha, with a huge spa on the deck overlooking the bush, is hard to beat.
