Spring Racing Carnival

Victoria's Spring Racing Carnival, Australia's premier horse racing event, runs from 30 September to 18 November, 2009.

With 50 action-packed days of racing and stylish social events at metropolitan and country tracks across Victoria, it's bigger than you think.

Metropolitan courses at Flemington, Moonee Valley, Caulfield, Sandown and country race courses all over Victoria will host the celebrations, making it an excellent time to visit Melbourne and surrounding areas.

From the colour, glamour and sophistication of metropolitan racing to the sheer variety of country meetings; music and wine days; and the world's best international race horses, jockeys and trainers – there's something for everyone at Victoria's Spring Racing Carnival.
