How to get there
Violet Town is under two hours from Melbourne on the Hume Freeway. Alternatively, you can travel via the Maroondah Highway, turning at Merton and travelling over the Strathbogie Ranges on the Euroa-Mansfield Road to Euroa, and following the Hume Freeway north to Violet Town. A daily train service runs from Melbourne to Albury, stopping in Violet Town.
