The Phillip Island Jazz Festival

The Phillip Island Jazz Festival is being held on the 20th ,21st and 22nd November 2009 in the Bass Room at All Seasons Eco Resort, 2128 Phillip Island Tourist Road, Cowes. This will be the 5th time the event has been held. The theme for this year is "RED HOT JAZZ" and the feature bands are noted for playing this style of Jazz.

The Festival will commence at 7pm Friday 20th November followed by non stop Jazz 11am to 11pm, Saturday 21st November and 10am to 4pm on Sunday 22nd November 2009. A feature of the Saturday night session will be a Jam Session featuring musicians from a number of the performing groups.

Each year the Phillip Island Festival nominates a community beneficiary. This year it will be the National Vietnam Veterans Museum, Newhaven and it would be good opportunity to view this piece of history while on the Island.
