Bopha Devi in Docklands is a glitzy sibling to the Yarraville original, bringing traditional Cambodian cuisine to Melbourne's lacquered waterfront. This open-fronted restaurant has a lounge feel, sporting squat ottomans gathered around communal tables, glammed up with a gold-fronted bar and spider-web delicate chandeliers. While the space is slick and sophisticated, the restaurant has not lost its roots, with the dishes inspired by the home cooking of chef Chan Uoy's mother. The menu is a fascinating read, spanning soups and rice porridge, a traditional fish curry, chargrilled meatballs and so much more.
