Shopping – Gippsland

Shopping

Gippsland has the largest number of farmers' markets in Victoria, selling fresh produce direct from the growers. Antique, craft and collectibles shops abound in many small towns in country Gippsland.

A stroll through charming Yarragon Village will unearth a treasure trove of shopping delights – from arts, crafts and textiles to galleries, books and antiques. Stratford on the Avon River is also known locally as one of the best towns to stop in if you love antiques, from rustic colonial furniture to exquisite pieces. Loch Village just north of Wilsons Promontory is another pretty little village where you can stroll past award-winning cottages and shops and browse through antique and collectibles shops, galleries and craft shops or stop for Devonshire tea.
